Asia Bags & Leather Goods Trade Fair: A Grand Opening
On April 30th, the 2026 Asia Bags & Leather Goods Fair (Spring Edition) — co-hosted by Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group and the Guangzhou Leather Goods Industry Association — officially opened at the Pazhou Lingxiu Innovation Exhibition Center in Guangzhou!

Serving as both a vital complement to the Canton Fair and a new platform for export sales, this year’s fair was built around global cross-border sourcing demand, bringing together top-tier resources from both home and abroad to create one of Asia’s largest and most influential professional trade events for bags and leather goods — injecting strong momentum into the industry’s high-quality development and global expansion.

At the opening ceremony, the resounding beat of drums and gongs accompanied a lively lion dance rich with Lingnan flavor, bringing the atmosphere to a high point. Fang Shenglai, Secretary-General of the Guangdong Leather Goods Chamber of Commerce and Deputy General Manager of Baiyun Leather City (second from right), was invited as a distinguished guest to take part in the lion dance’s eye-dotting ceremony.
- The Industry Gathers at Pazhou to Embrace New Trends

This year’s fair covered a total exhibition area of 12,000 square meters, bringing together over 280 quality source factories and brand enterprises to compete side by side on the show floor. Together, they showcased a full industry chain to buyers from around the world — spanning R&D, materials, manufacturing, finished goods, custom design, and OEM production. More than 10,000 trending new releases, export bestsellers, and custom-crafted pieces made their debut, forming an efficient, one-stop sourcing ecosystem designed to meet the diverse and increasingly specialized needs of global buyers.

The Asia Bags & Leather Goods Fair is more than a stage for individual businesses — it’s a collective showcase of China’s bags and leather goods industrial clusters. Eight national-level production hubs took part as group delegations, presenting themselves with a unified image and the strength of industrial clustering: Guangzhou Shiling, Hebei Baigou, Hunan Huaihua, Hunan Lanshan, Jiangxi Xingan, Zhejiang Ningbo, Zhejiang Pinghu, and Hunan Shaodong.

- A Group Showcase with a Light-Luxury Edge

As the leading market within Guangzhou’s Sanyuanli leather goods business district, Baiyun Leather City has always been committed to helping outstanding local brands connect with global resources. Four merchants took part in this fair — Xiangxiang Leather Goods, WHEN, Tata, and theydrow — each bringing its own distinct style and covering a different niche within the leather goods space, all aiming to leverage the fair’s exposure to help more quality leather brands get noticed by global buyers.

To align with their brand identities, the booths were designed with a high-end, fashion-forward, light-luxury aesthetic — clean, open layouts paired with thoughtfully arranged product displays that highlighted each brand’s unique character while collectively reflecting the premium quality and style of Baiyun Leather City’s merchants. From the very start of the fair, the booths drew large numbers of buyers who stopped to browse and ask questions.

- A Hit with Buyers: Seizing New Industry Opportunities

Thanks to their distinctive booth designs and high-quality products, all four participating merchants received glowing feedback from buyers both at home and abroad. The very first day of the fair brought a steady stream of inquiries and discussions, with many buyers expressing strong appreciation for the craftsmanship, design, and value of the products on display. Several buyers even reached preliminary agreements on the spot, with plans to follow up on product details and partnership terms.
Running from April 30th to May 3rd, the four-day Asia Bags & Leather Goods Fair will continue under the theme “A New Complement to the Canton Fair, a New Platform for Export,” driving even more industry momentum and providing key support for China’s bags and leather goods export sector — together charting a new blueprint for global fashion trade cooperation!
